The University of Science and Technology (AGH), Krakow, is one of the largest Polish universities with over 3892 staff and 29706 students. The scientific research is conducted in projects financed by grants from Ministry of Science and Higher Education(MniSW) of Poland, University's own statutory and research activities and projects, as well as contracts obtained from industry and other Polish or foreign institutions. The University participates in various educational and researches projects on the world's forum. The distinctive feature of the university is equipment, for instance the most powerful microscopes to investigate the structure of metals in this part of Europe. |
